The first-ever Hermano Mayor-type of celebration of Saint Joseph Feast day was a success! The Leoncio Family, (headed by no other than Honorable Mayor Narciso 'Boyet' Leoncio) was the Hermano Mayor of this Fiesta.
One of the new highlights was the Float contest, the criteria: The brgy/barrio's main product must be reflected in the float, which proved once again how the filipino ingenuity works!

2nd Place Bgy. Amas Float |
3rd Place Bgy. Mainit Float |
The float competition is expected to be more colorful and exciting in next year's fiesta celebrations. The other activities includes usual done in fiesta celebrations such as: parlor games, beauty contest, amateur singing contest, boxing, basketball, cycling, drum & lyre competition, Rigodon Royale on Patron's Night, etc. Movie celebrities also add color to the event.
Also one of the 'firsts' happened here was the feeding of people of Brooke's Point by the Leoncio Family.

People lined-up for the packed-lunch prepared for each and everyone of them |

Orderly food distribution resulted to smooth flow of the line
The fiesta celebrations ended in a colorful 42-minute fireworks!
